Universal remote codes for Insignia TV

How to enter a code on GE CL5
  1. Open the battery compartment and find the code list version (CL3, CL4, CL5 or CL6) on the sticker under the batteries or inside the cover. Use codes from that version only.
  2. Press and hold SETUP until the red light turns on, then release it; the light stays on.
  3. Press and release the device button you want to use (for example TV, CBL, DVD or AUD). The red light blinks once and stays on.
  4. Type the first 4-digit code listed for your brand. The red light turns off after the fourth digit.
