What the maker lists hold for Samsung TV
Samsung's GE, Philips and UltraPro row shrank to 3 codes after CL3: CL4, CL5 and CL6 all print 5791, 5801 and 3301 in that order, and 3301 is the only one carried over from the 29 on CL3. RCA is where the depth is, with 61 different Samsung codes across all 35 revisions. 12051 leads on 12 of them, and 19 of the 61 also turn up in RCA's Curtis Mathes rows.

- GE 4-Device Universal Remote 33709 is Jasco-made and takes the CL lists above. Read the CL number in its battery compartment: on CL6, the Samsung TV row has 3 codes, starting with 5791. GE codes and steps.

What is the 4-digit code for a Samsung TV?
Every GE, UltraPro and Jasco-made Philips code is 4 digits: on CL5, the Samsung list starts with 5791, 5801, 3301. On RCA remotes, only older revisions such as 31862 use 4 digits, where Samsung starts with 0812; current RCA remotes (R271U1, R341U1, R3F802) need 5 digits.
